About Me

I have an associate's degree in religion, a bachelor's degree in education, a master's degree in psychology, a master's degree in sociology, and a PhD in sociology. This means, while I may not be intimately familiar with your topic, I know enough about a wide-range of topics that I can read something and know how it should be worded. 

I have published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. I am currently the Editor in Chief of a niche magazine that I founded. I made my way through grad school because I know how to write, and how to write really well.

I'm a firm believer in the value of higher education, so let me tell you what I won't do. I won't write your paper for you. That is not what I do. But I can help you polish your paper so you can submit it wherever it needs to go--to your publisher, to your committee, to a potential employer. A well-written document can open many doors, and I assure you that a poorly-written document will close just as many doors.

I currently run several businesses, including a telemarketing business and a transcribing business (focused on academic transcriptions). I also sit at the helm of a couple of non-profit organizations dedicated to helping people navigate their way back from being involved in the criminal justice system. 

Most important in my life is that I'm the father of a wonderful, talented, amazing adult daughter. I also consider my two felines my children. I love theater and am actively involved in community theater. And, of course, I love to write.
